Millie Blackwood is a Central Ontario-based artist who writes (and sometimes illustrates for) serialized fiction in fantasy and horror, representing queer and neurodiverse characters.
A passionate retrophile of 1990s-era video games, anime, fashion, and music (primarily punk rock and the unfortunate final throes of hair metal), Millie tries to channel all that inspires her into everything she writes.
She studied print and broadcast journalism at Humber Polytechnic in Etobicoke, ON, with further education in film and pulp fiction.
When Millie isn’t speed-running Super Mario Bros. or jamming out to the Ramones, you’ll probably find her stocking up on horror movies down at your local Sunrise Records.
